Great roller, Made in the US!

I went from a 4.5" roller I had been running for 15 years, it needed replacement. The one I chose to buy is the 3" version of Kompact, about a third more resistance due to the reduced roller diameter. It is indeed a significantly greater pedaling load, but the 4.5" rollers were getting too easy and I would have needed a greater load.

I work to support domestic manufacturing and smaller business. and Kreitler has been a defacto reference for rollers for decades.

Legit upgrade

Have a zeb ultimate and makes the top end open up easier and is super plush, need to play with it a bit but haven't gotten into the last third substantially yet. Totally worth it. Was between this and an avalanche damper and love this thing.

Replacement for a Soulcraft Convert

I was toying with a project making a single speed out of a carbon DV9 frame. I have an older Convert from Soulcraft that had a MRP orange roller that was beat. So I figured out that this roller was exactly the same (just black in color)
I ordered two just to be safe and it totally works!
So FYI, if you have a project that needs a great bearinged roller, this could really fit the bill!
