Territory Sales Manager

Location: Grand Junction, CO

MRP has an opening for a Territory Sales Manager based in our Grand Junction, CO headquarters. MRP’s collection of suspension and drivetrain products are born on the trails of Colorado – designed, tested, and handcrafted by riders who are driven by passion.
This position’s focus is primarily split between new customer/sales generation and servicing and managing existing dealer, distributor and OE relationships within North America. The Territory Sales Manager is a key member of our sales/marketing team, working with and reporting to the Vice President of Business Development. This position includes some sales travel as well as attendance at industry events, trade shows, and occasional consumer-oriented festivals and races.
Responsibilities include:
  • Managing existing dealer, distributor, and OEM accounts: setting goals, proactively engaging, forecasting sales, gathering feedback, and ensuring positive experiences for our customers.
  • Identifying, developing and closing new dealer, distributor, and OEM business opportunities in North America.
  • Being responsive to customer inquiries, issues, and requests via phone and e-mail.
  • Creating programs and initiatives to boost sales in critical times and areas.
  • Tracking customer interactions, reporting metrics, and managing budget.

Minimum Requirements:
  • At least 3 years of B2B sales experience with proven successful results.
  • Bicycle industry experience is strongly preferred, but not required.
  • Given the technical nature of MRP’s products, previous service experience and/or strong mechanical knowledge is helpful but not necessary.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and experience
  • Capable of multi-tasking, problem solving, and thriving in a busy, goal-oriented environment

Purchasing & Inventory Specialist

Location: Grand Junction, CO

MRP is searching for a hard-working, motivated individual to be responsible for purchasing, receiving and inventory maintenance for our growing bicycle component manufacturing facility.


  • Responsible for purchasing inventory, supplies, tooling and materials for the company.
  • Create PO’s for all new purchased items and work closely with Operations Manager and engineering to ensure accurate specs on each part/process.
  • Communicate clearly specification requirements, quality and timing with all outside vendors.
  • Develop relationships with existing vendors and work to get best possible pricing and continually source vendors for new and existing parts to ensure quality, delivery and best pricing.
  • Manage inventory levels to maximize inventory turns and reduce excess inventory and inventory waste.
  • Deliver and pick up parts at local vendors as needed.


  • Responsible for simple inspection and receiving goods from outside vendors as well as internal machine shop.
  • Ensure that all parts are accurately received into the ERP system and that invoices match PO’s and ROG’s.
  • Responsible for putting received inventory on the shelf, in the proper location, and fully marked in a timely fashion.

Inventory Maintenance:

  • Responsible for maintaining accurate inventory by ensuring that data is correctly entered into ERP system, performing daily cycle counts and maintaining visual inventory systems.
  • Ensure that BOM’s are up to date and accurate.
  • Assist Operations Manager and sales in accurately entering part numbers and BOM’s in ERP system as new finished goods are needed.

The ideal candidate will have prior purchasing and/or inventory experience, attention to detail, accuracy, initiative and the ability to take a hands on approach to inventory management.

Requirements include: high School diploma or equivalent, driver’s License, the ability to work with minimum supervision and prioritize work as needed and proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and Excel.

Accounting & Office Assistant

Location: Grand Junction, CO

MRP is searching for a detail-oriented team member with a background in bookkeeping and/or accounting to provide accounting and office support for our busy front office.

This is a great opportunity for someone who is self-motivated, takes initiative and likes to learn new things. We are currently in the process of an ERP implementation, so it’s a great time to get involved with a new software system from the ground up. It is also an excellent opportunity to help organize and develop new administrative processes to improve our workflow and efficiency with the new software.

We are looking for someone who is flexible, likes change, and can wear a lot of hats within an organization. Currently, this position has daily accounting responsibilities, including A/P, A/R and monthly reporting. In addition, we are looking for someone with excellent written communication skills to effectively communicate by e-mail with our Taiwan customers, enter orders and work with our Taiwan agent to schedule orders for delivery.

At MRP, we are dedicated to excellent customer service and personally answer our phones. While answering phones is not a key responsibility of this position, we all back up customer service and answer phones from time to time, so being comfortable on the phones is a plus! We are also looking for a team member with excellent organization skills who can keep us organized, help improve processes, support the management team with projects as needed and just find things that need to be done.

Our ideal candidate will have at least 1-2 years of bookkeeping experience and/or an accounting degree, office administration experience, the ability to perform work with extreme attention to detail, a high level of organization, excellent written and verbal communication skills and a high level of proficiency with excel, word and outlook.
