This chain guide is light weight and fits perfectly on my 2022 Bronson. Love it.
Being 230lbs and using around 110-120psi on the Fox 36 I have always struggled with dialing in the grip2 on my last couple bike builds. It's either too linear, and dives past the mid stroke, or it stays higher in its travel but loses all small bump. I was skeptical about changing to a arguably more simple damper with correct shims for my weight, but this is exactly what the fork needed! Not only do I have mid support now, but the small bump is fantastic. The simple adjustments on the damper make noticeable differences, and therefore makes it much less likely to get lost in the adjustments. I had more confidence in the front of the bike as soon as I dropped in to my first dh, and it's only increased since after dialing it the settings. Only downside is I want to get some sort of shock that is tuned for my weight to compliment how good the fork feels now.
Easy to install, adds a bit of extra protection. Worth a try!
arrived faster than light in Europe, thank you for your quick response!
Lyriks MY2021 and earlier work well with the Noken free-riding at Windrock! I added a 180mm airspring + Noken at 95psi, rebound 5 clicks from 'rabbit' and 6 clicks compression from open. I weigh #190 kitted. The Lyrik handled braking bumps WAY better. It stayed supportive for launches. I compare this to a fairly "chattery" previous setup of 170mm + 3 tokens at 80psi. I will see how the current setup performs at Snowshoe's back-country. Check back with me in 3 weeks!
