FOREFRONT
The “Forefront” feature allows for 4-way, front-accessible setup and adjustment. This broad adjustability makes installation less “trial-and-error” and more “set-and-forget.”
If you aggressively ride an IBIS Ripley V4, then I can't recommend this chainguide enough. Wow, the fit, the function, the size, the clever adjustment points. I would buy this again and recommend to all my friends. There is not very much room with the DW Links on this version of the Ripley and this guide is a perfect all mountain "keep the chain on" but not *overkill* guide. This guide bolts directly to the IBIS "bottom bracket spacer tab thinga-ma-jig" that is meant to mount guides to. Perfectly. I used the bigger spacer washers on my application and the chain is perfectly centered across the cassette range and does not rub anywhere. LOVE LOVE LOVE. Stop reading. Buy it. I'm serious. I have owned a ton of guides (I tried to get all of the old ones to fit this bike to no avail!) and this one is KING. Order now.
I thought I'd give this a try as after I'd installed a Vorsprung Luftkappe to my Fox 38 the fork became a little bit too progressive.
I'm still experimenting with pressures but I've noticed a big improvement so far and I'd definitely recommend the noken if you've had similar issues
Great service from MRP, super quick shipping to the UK.
All good, thank you.
Replaced 3 tokens with this V2 ramp control unit. Already have the V2 damper installed. 91kg and 92 psi in the 2024 fox 38. Using around 12 or so clicks from 0 tokens and the ride is really active and linear to the middle of the stroke and ramps up for the remainder. Can adjust the bottom out with the ramp control adjuster which is right handy to dial in exactly how you want the fork to feel. With both installed I have savage grip and won't bottom out the fork.
I can see a little improvement from the V1, also seems closer to ideal damping rates according to the weight-chart compared to V1. All in all it works well and better than any major-mfr OEM damper.
Got a Lift V.1 last fall when they were on sale. Installed about a month ago, now have ridden it 3x. Went into a Lyrik Select+ that sits on a Chromag Wideangle, running 150mm travel.
The Lyrik was my first RS fork in about 15 yrs, and I liked it pretty well as it was. But the damper seemed spikey on repeat hits, washboard, constant rockiness. And I'm usually in the "too light weight for factory damping" category.
After some good guidance from the guys at MRP I chose Yellow tune. I weigh about 150lbs ready to ride, water/snacks etc. I ride northern Rockies, so it is generally rocky, rutty, rooty where it isn't hardpack. Sometimes steep.
I set it up with the recommended amounts of compression and rebound damping, and left the same 70psi I'd been running with the factory RS damper.
After one ride I dropped air spring to 67psi and lightened each of the compression and rebound settings by one click.
It's now a fantastic fork that stays up in its travel, absorbs trail features big or small whether I'm going slow or fast. Never feels spikey or wallowy. Thanks MRP, made my fork a real crusher.
Solid product, it works with the YDX-Moro 07 e-bike with some adjustments. Better than the one that came with the bike. I still have to test it on the trail.
